Q Follow and use the structure when answering these questions (this is a part of your grade) NOTE: this assignment is both the forum discussion and the Reading essay. For full credit (40 points – 20 points each) you must make submissions in each assignment area. Start with The Pew Research Center for People and the Press short ideology quiz that classifies individuals into an ideology group based on the individual's response to a series of questions. Take the Pew Typology Test (http://www.people-press.org/typology/quiz/ (Links to an external site.) ) and review the information regarding your ideology classification. Also, review the other classifications in which Pew categories the American public. Then Look at the classical world views typology (conservative, radical, liberal or "C, R, L Model") in the course text book (on pages 60 to 65). Looking the question addressed by each world view - in the left column - then look at the three columns arrayed conservative, radical, and liberal; each offering its unique answer to the question or issue addressed or posed in the left column. FIRST: In each row across; there are columns down.... • EACH ROW represents a concept or idea (found in in column one) • AND THEN - in each row – THERE ARE THREE responses or positions to the concept or idea in the row (found in columns two, three, four). • THESE RESPONSES REPRESENT the three classical world views 1) the classical Conservative response, (column two) 2) the classical Radical response, (column three) 3) the classical Libera response. (column four) NEXT Now, you have 9 points which you can assign across the row proportional to the degree to which you agree with each response For example, • you could say you agree with all three responses equally: 3, 3, 3.... OR • you could say you agree with only one response and reject the other two: 0, 9, 0.... OR • you could say you agree with all three some but one more than the others: 5, 2, 2.... OR • any other combination which represents your view on each row for the three responses FINALLY: AND do this for every row for all the columns • Add all three columns for the whole typology and find what your score is for each world view overall on all four pages of the typology: Then • Reflect upon what score AND % (for conservative, radical, liberal world views) you have for the whole typology; and you can get some insight into your own classical world view mix… as it stands today. • Share your findings and insight on the discussion forum. • Finally; under the Readings essay submission box; o 1) a summary of your results (C, R, L Model and PEW) and o 2) one key lesson you believe we should all learn from an exploration of “seeing the world through one another’s eyes” (their world view). o Share both NOTE Again: this assignment is both the forum discussion and the Reading essay. For full credit (40 points – 20 points each) you must make submissions in each assignment area. In this essay - Remember to explain & support your reaction! Reference text materials utilizing “in-text citation” style (regarding author, year, and page #). Your answer should aim at about 500 words or more in response here.

The results of the CRL political typology quiz ascertains the fact that I am more inclined towards liberal values and ethics than other political ideas. The results of the quiz clearly indicate the bias as the total score received underneath the Liberal Scale was a massive 214 as compared to the Radical and Conservative Scale. There were some points in the Radical column with which I agreed personally especially when it came to the points regarding Social justice, equity and equality. But in spite of that the score received below the Radical scale was measured at a 155. The conservative scale on the other hand contained questions or ideologies which can mostly be identified as Right Wing ideologies, something with which I barely agree.
